Mauro J. G. Arruda

Mauro J. G. Arruda holds a degree in Law from Faculdade de Direito (Law School) in São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo, 1970. Enrolled in the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo chapter, and with supplementary enrollments in the chapters located  in the Federal District - Brasília and Rio de Janeiro. Member of the São Paulo Legal Association – AASP and the Advisory Counsel of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association - ABPI. Currently Ethics Director of the São Paulo Intellectual Property Association – ASPI. He is also a member of Asociación Interamericana de la Propriedad Industrial (the Interamerican Industrial Property Association) – ASIPI and the International Trademark Association – INTA. Hands–on experience in the fields of intellectual property, litigation, and consultancy, dealing with contracts as well as civil litigation. Languages: English and Spanish.
